This Privacy Policy explains how ATX EV Charging (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of atxevcharging.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Site or contact us for a home EV charger installation quote. By using the Site or submitting our quote form, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are. ATX EV Charging is a free referral service, not an electrical contractor. We don’t perform electrical work. When you submit a request, we send it to an independent, licensed Texas electrical contractor, who provides the quote and does the work. We may be compensated by the contractors we refer to.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our quote form or call us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the service you’re interested in, and any notes about your project (such as whether you own or rent, your electric utility, your panel location and distance to parking, your vehicle, preferred contact time and method, and your charger model). We also record the consent language shown on the form and the date and time you submitted it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and how you use the Site, through server logs and cookies or similar technologies. If you call a phone number listed on the Site, our call-tracking provider may record the call and collect call metadata (such as your phone number and call time).
Your consent to be contacted
When you submit the quote form, you agree that ATX EV Charging and one licensed electrical contractor we refer you to may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by emailing info@atxevcharging.com.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and connect you with a licensed electrical contractor who can quote and complete your project;
- To contact you about your request by your preferred method, consistent with the consent above;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share the information you submit as follows:
- With a referral partner. To fulfill your request, we share your contact details and project information with an independent, licensed Texas electrical contractor so they can prepare a quote and contact you.
- With service providers. We use trusted third parties to run the Site and process inquiries — including our form processor (Web3Forms), web hosting and email provider, call-tracking provider, and website analytics. These providers process information on our behalf.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ATX EV Charging or others.
Cookies and analytics
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies, and may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some Site features.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your request, connect you with a contractor, and for our legitimate business and legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted, and you may ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing info@atxevcharging.com. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
