We install Level 2 and Tesla home chargers across the Austin metro — from the urban core out through the Hill Country and Williamson County suburbs. One thing we get right that a lot of installers gloss over: which utility serves your address, because it decides what rebate you can actually claim.

Why your utility matters out here
Inside the City of Austin, most homes are on Austin Energy — which means the 50%, up-to-$1,200 rebate is on the table. But the suburbs are a patchwork: much of the Hill Country and Williamson County ring is served by Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) or Oncor, where the Austin Energy rebate doesn’t apply and any incentive depends on your utility or retail provider. Some cities — Lakeway is a good example — are split between two utilities depending on which side of a creek you’re on. We confirm your exact utility before we quote, so the rebate number we give you is the real one, not a brochure promise.
